Why aren't we on Youtube Kids?
YouTube has not approved our content for the YouTube Kids app. While this is disappointing, we remain dedicated to creating family-friendly content that you can still enjoy on the main YouTube platform. Here is a way to manually add Kalam Kids to Youtube Kids:
To allow Kalam Kids channel on Youtube kids simply open their channel and click on the 3 dots on the upper right, “share”, then “with kids”. When you open your kids profiles the new channel will be in a new tab called “shared”.

Will you continue to release Arabic videos?
We are happy to share that we will continue creating videos in both English and Arabic. For our English-speaking families, we want to provide content that offers Muslim representation while still being accessible. At the same time, we’ll keep making Arabic videos to help teach the language to children. Usually, English videos will be released first, then the same video in Arabic will shortly follow.

Why Shami dialect and not classical Arabic?
We’ve chosen to focus on the Shami dialect in our videos because it’s what we speak at home, and we want our children to learn the Arabic that is part of our daily lives. We believe it’s important for them to connect with the language they hear from us.
However, we also recognize that Classical Arabic, as the language of the Quran, is deeply important and should be learned as well. While our focus is on the Shami dialect, there are many wonderful resources available for learning Classical Arabic, which we highly encourage.
